Unlock the Power of Music Theory:
10-Week Intensive Programme
Welcome to a transformative learning experience designed specifically for students who need to sit and pass an accredited music theory examination (e.g. ABRSM Music Theory Grades 1 – 8)
As a classically trained pianist and experienced music theory tutor, I understand the challenges that many students face when it comes to learning and understanding complex music theory concepts. I teach music theory in such a way that the ideas and principles can be easily retained and effectively applied to examinations situations.
I am an experienced, passionate tutor with and excellent exam pass rate using exam-focused learning with proven success.
Why Choose my 10-Week Intensive Programme?
- Expert-Led Instruction: Learn from a highly experienced music educator with a deep understanding of both classical piano and music theory.
- Comprehensive Curriculum: Covering essential topics such as scales, harmony, rhythm, counterpoint, form, and more, with a structured, simple and effective approach that meets the needs of students at every level.
- Flexible Learning: This programme is suitable for students of all levels and backgrounds – whether you’re new to music theory or you’re looking to expand your current skill set ready to sit a music theory exam.
- Focus on Student Success: Help students develop a strong foundation in music theory, enabling them to become confident, skilled musicians who understand the “why” behind the music they play.
My method involves using past papers from previous and recent examinations, on a weekly basis, meaning that when the student comes to sit the exam, they will have all the skills they need in order to pass these very difficult exams (pass rate: 66%!)
